Mweka Camp is the final campsite for climbers descending Mount Kilimanjaro via the Machame, Lemosho, Shira, and Umbwe routes. Situated at an altitude of approximately 3,100 meters (10,170 feet), the camp is nestled within the lush rainforest zone of the mountain. Facilities are basic, with no permanent structures; climbers typically sleep in tents. The camp is located near the Mweka Gate, making it a convenient final stop before exiting the park.
