Horombo Huts are a set of stone and wooden huts located at 3,720 meters (12,200 feet) on the Marangu Route of Mount Kilimanjaro. Serving as a common overnight stop for both ascending and descending climbers, they offer dormitory-style accommodation with bunk beds, shared toilets, and a communal dining area. The huts provide a more comfortable resting point compared to higher camps, and are often used for acclimatization days. Surrounded by scenic views of the mountain and the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, Horombo Huts offer a vital and scenic stop on the journey to the summit.
